totally a kid thing. It's natural curiosity and exploration - does NOT lead to molestation or homosexuality. If one kid is being touched against his WILL - that's a whole nother ballgame. But it sounds more like a "I'll show you mine if you show me yours..." Start associating shame and that's more when the trouble starts. Have frank conversations about "if it makes you feel uncomfortable, go talk to an adult - teacher, principal, whoever". But otherwise it's a completely innocent thing (from what you describe).

Around here parents don't even bother to teach their kids basic manners. A lot of the Mexican parents discourage their kids from learning English. Trying to compare them to what we commonly percieve as normal parents is apples vs. oranges. It's a whole different world.

I can't and don't worry about those kids or why they're doing what they're doing, it's irrelevant. My son doesn't want to be touched and knew without us ever talking about it that what they are doing is wrong. Their next time to try it on him will certainlly be their last. I strongly discourage "tattling", though telling a teacher in this case is warranted. However there it is not likely a teacher will be in the bathroom supervising at the moment it happens so it's on my boy to deal with it then and explain his actions later.

There are much worse things than being suspended and fined, being a coward and not learning to stand up fir yourself among them.

I'm not going to directly respond to you.

It would be rude.

A lot of truth to that

I don't feel the need to defend my own parenting, but my comment you quote comes from my own childhood. I grew up very poor, sharing the street with many 1st gen mexican children that left the house at 7am for the bus, and returned home for dinner at 8 or 9 pm at night without their parents having any idea what they did between those times. Or even if they went to school that day. And I'm not speaking of teenagers...I'm speaking of 5 yr olds

You speak of these Mexicans as if they were a different species.
I may have to break out my National Geographic collection to learn more of these "Mexicans"

Lol, well sometimes it feels like they are. Now, keep in mind my wife is Mexican so I'm not racist as much as I'm appalled by the darker side of Mexicsn culture. The extreme Jesus loving, pregnant kids, condom wrappers in my back yard, not flushing the toilet paper, stealing my pecans, lack of basic manners, no driver license/insurance, no parental supervision, no effort to learn the language, dumbing down the school system, and sharing a nice weiner touching moments....well it's a lil bothersome to me
