Why do HP laptops suck?

Vista sucks ass, I don't like 7 either. OSX is better.

Everybody says that about Vista but I never had any problems with it on my old laptop.

Perhaps, but I can't stand it. You're also pretty much stuck using Apple's overpriced by several orders of magnitude hardware, unless you've got the skillset to build a Hackintosh.

I didn't like it at first either, but now it's just more natural. They have some little quirks that just suit me better for the stuff I do on my desktop. I still prefer Android to iOS though.

It's a higher price, but it's not even 2x the price if you buy similar components. I am not talking about comparing bargain bin or secondary manufacturing line stuff like most people do when they do a build comparison. I mean the first line production that uses very different rated components. If you build it yourself, then it's probably 2x.

That higher price is worth it for me to never have to answer a question about my wife's computer as well. She can figure it out herself on Apple, the same can't be said for Windows pain in the ass maintenance.

I couldn't get past the system freezes and clunky performance.
