I keep forgetting that it's a 440 as well... I keep worrying about stability and swing arm strength, etc but then I remind myself and realize that it'll be fine.

Ok...bike is at the welder's. He and I are gonna work on it Tues night. In the meantime, I decided to finish my seat.
Got the fabric glued in place Stitched Trimmed The color scheme is gonna be black with red wheeels. That's why I'm going with the red seat. FYI...My fingers hate me for the hand stitching LOL

Sounds like my brother. That is how I ended up with 2 project bikes. I told him what I was doing, and he said,"find me one." So I find two as a package deal. Then his wife vetoed that shit. She was like "You've got three fuckin boats and Jeep that you've been going to "restore" for two fuckin years. Nope, the bike ain't happenin."
So now I've got a 1979 GS1000 that I need to sell
