I won't buy a touch screen phone period because I am sure that I'd break it!!! Besides, surfing the net on a 3" screen sucks balls IMHO!
You'd be amazed at the durability...mine has hit the ground umpteen times and I've never even scratched the darn screen(however I cant say the same for the mute button)!! However replacing the screen is almost as costly as a new phone! And when you're a junkie, it doesnt matter how small the screen is, you adjust! Its a 100% cure for the easily bored!

Yeah I am, but I am totally not converted. I really want to play with a Palm Pre. The BB and the iphone both have features I like, but I will not go to AT&T because of reception. That was the biggest factor for me ruling out the iphone. I am not a fan of the storm, every upgrade they have made so far as taken 2 steps back for every step forward. I have played with some other BBs that are awesome. I love the BB core software though. It's very very handy in a business world. I wasn't impressed with the Apple version of it. People had to come up with hacks and tricks to make it work similarly to the BB before the upgrade and it is still not as good after the upgrade.

Yea I have problems with small keys myself, to be honest that's part of the reason I've jumped off the "who's got the coolest phone" competition merry go round. I've posted this before but both ATT and Verizon both sell inexpensive ($100-300) netbooks that use their networks and WiFi to surf the internet. I'd much rather the larger keys and the 8 or 10 screen.

Well one thing they do have over the IPhone is insurance/extended warranty! There was no way I was going to buy a phone that costs $500+ to replace without insurance! Oh and but a guy I worked with literally picked a 3G up and cracked the screen about 3 days later... no bullshit!

My guess is, you guys look at how the media portrays iPhone owners, as being trendy metrosexuals etc. etc., and you assume that to be reality.
No, I get outside and interract with people...I don't base my opinions on something I see on TV or in movies. My views/opinions of most are based on my direct experiences with them, as I know many iPhone owners. Some of them, sometimes, I wish I didn't know. LOL

However, I do assume you to be a trendy metrosexual.

Never spent more than $40 for a pair of jeans, and I drive a 15-year old beater that's only worth $1,000, and an 8-year old bike that's only worth $3500-4000. So much for trendy.

To be clear: There are better phones than the iPhone. But they all cost more than the iPhone's contracted price.

I would imagine with all the gay prostitutes you wouldn't want to ruin the back seat of a nice car nor would you want to trash expensive jeans with street walker man gunk.

It's very practical of you and practical is very "IN" nowadays with todays economy.

Some people just hate anything Apple.

Some people hate the image that they feel Apple products project.

Some people are just contrarians and cant help but oppose anything thats popular.
