Yeah if you were watching the commercial on 10000 fucking tvs at the same time. Its a constant drone and makes me want to rip someones head off and then shove it up their ass.
I can see if you did it when the other team is about to score on you to try to screw them up but they go non stop. I think the chanting and so on is much better. James

They really stand on the tv at the fire station. Its so bad you can hear them talk. If we switch to the home theater speakers is a bit better but it still can drive you crazy.

yep, annoying but I got used to them.
Funny thing is, I have seen Chelsea play twice, and AC Milan once and the games were all chanting, then I went to a Club America and Chivas(Mexican teams) and it was all those damn horns lol |

I forgot how much acting is apart of soccer. There should be a penalty for bad acting. A kick in the nuts punishment would do.

yeah, but they suck at it in soccer and do it way more than football. Don't watch hockey or basketball enough to make an accurate judge.

Plus no pads warrents a simple rule called "dangerous play" which is basically at the ref's discretion, but in the fifa rulebook is defined as doing things like slide tackling with the cleats facing up, slide tackling from behind (although this is acceptable if contact is made with the ball first), challening a ball higher than mid waist with your cleats (high kick), etc etc. Basketball isnt a contact sport, so its pretty easy to tell what a foul is. Hockey and football you wear pads and helmets to protect yourself. Soccer is full contact, with a set of rules designed to minimize serious injury, which is officiated by typically 4 men. 2 on each sideline, a center official, and an official at midfield to manage substitutions. So yea, i guess you could call it acting when a player exaggerates being tackled or pushed, but in reality its just using the rules of the game to try and get an advantage. The rules arent cut and dry like other sports, and soccer referees know this. |
