Over on the Maxima board I found a set of brand new 235/45-18 for cheap($400 OBO) I don't even know if 235's on OEM offset would fit in my wheel well. That would look sweet though. |

I like to use tirerack's website to see whether a certain wheel/tire combination will fit, because they've already test-fitted everything and know whether it will work. When you enter your make and model, they only list stuff that will fit. Also they will include hub-centric rings with your purchase, to fill in the gap between your hub and the new wheels.

That sticky goop shit that the tire places use works great as well. But, the tire shop should have submerged the thing in water.

I'd hit up Craigslist to find some gangsta who just upgraded his wheels and is selling his stockers, with tires for $100.

Paid for the wheels last Friday, and they had to have them shipped over from Detroit so they should go on tomorrow or Friday. These Konigs were $505 OTD so I figur if I clean up the OEM rims and refinish them I should be able to make most of that money back up. The OEM wheels are $500 new each. My wheels have no cube rash at all so a little clean up and a fresh clear coat and I should be able to sell them on the Maxima board for at least $400 for the set.
