Na, newer than the p2000, which I just saw as the USP for idiots who couldn't manage a real pistol (law enforcement). The one I'm talking about is pretty much a 1911 by HK, they even refer to it as that one the website. This has a law enforcement model, but it was designed for SOCOM as a smaller, lighter alternative to the MK23 and...ah hell, just read about it at this website. Here's a pic:

Like the H&K pistols, for some reason that is the only brand that doesn't really fit my hand comfortably.

I like my Glocks, partly because they're not bulky and can conceal easy. I'm accurate with them and they're comfortable for me but it's just like bikes, got to get what fits ya. As far as safety's goes, you are the only true safety on any gun and that's a matter of training. Finger does not go on the trigger until ready to fire and it's safe.

But I was serious about liking them all. I haven't shot any gun that I thought really sucked, just have to get used to it and practice.

The best part about Glocks is that they are virtually industrutable.

True. Plus you can interchage all the glock parts between guns. NO worry about the gun being finicky like some guns get.

prolly four digits. i dunno man, id be interested as long as it still has the accuracy of the MK23.

other handguns ive always held interest in are the daewoo smith clones (fast action hammer sounds very useful) and the cz 100. always heard that out the box it isint all that great but if you polish the trigger bars it has the sweetest DAO action. also like that it has a hook on the slide so you can rack it off your belt.

Accuracy lies 99.9% within the shooter and varies from individual gun. What is accurate for you may not be accurate for others for various reasons including hand size, grip strength and breathing technique.
