Def could have been much worse, I was prety concerned given the area I live in and we did surprisingly well this time. But people in surrounding towns and even in my area had soem flooding damage and I think afew roads are still closed due to flooding up this way.

That kind of thing happens with heavy rainstorms. Same thing with trees falling into houses and on cars. It's sad, but it happens all the time.

I saw the early storm track so long as it doesnt hook a right turn were good. I wonder if I should bother taking all my yard furniture back out.

So long as it leaves us alone, looks like it wont be near our coastline till some tim enext week anyway, a lot can change between now and then.

My hometown didn't exist for several years after Katrina. I have lost everything I own from another hurricane. A little water is a weak hurricane.
