I didn't even know the FD offered this service and am not sure they do around here. That's one reason that I would never have considered it.

My luck...I'd call the FD and they would show up and break in with an axe and say..."there you go".

We don't have the small window paynes either but I do have a few smaller windows that I could break and it still wouldn't be $125 to replace the glass...just a hassle.

Having said this...I usually keep a key with me plus we have one hidden in the garage and have the remote pad as well.
