If I didn't live with them I would assume that things were in the earlier phases of the relationship so I would say almost everyday but I picked 3 times a week. A day to yourself is always healthy.

Tig, you're still dating the wrong women. It wasnt all you, thats what you guys are failing to see. You decide to be douches in general because you hookep up with women who werent worthy or were bitches or perhaps didnt have the maturity to appreciate a man being genuine.

You know I was previously married and there is a HUGE difference between being a pussy, and being a sensitive man.

I HATE the flowers, the teddy bears, the sappy BS. I do however appreciate when my hubby tells me he loves me or randomly does something sweet (like buying me tires or doing some of the housework when I'm exhausted becuase he's "sensitive" enough to know Im beat). He also understands the line between being whipped and being my "man".

I think the key is to be sensitive when the situation calls for it, to be honest about who you are and what you want, to listen without being afraid to speak your mind, and to be respectful of the woman as a person. All of this can easily be done without being a pansy. I doubt SM is a pansy, anyway. I do agree that too much emotion and being too soft is bad, but I also think being too much of a hardass is bad. Show some emotion and some respect, and don't be too predictable. I've just recently started figuring all of this out after being the nice guy that got dumped on too much and then the asshole who didn't like the kind of women that assholes end up with.
