You handled yourself well Pot. ( I must admit I like the second thought version better with the shotgun )
Our dog is quite vocal at times ( not for long but he barks loud). Here's our 160 lb whole house security system sitting next to my wife Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Lots of crazy desperate idiots out there. Be prepared. Jeff |

Wow, crazy story. Great composure.
I've had a home invasion that was stopped with the sound of a shotgun [OK and me yelling at them to get the fuck out]. And, I now love the fact that my dog would defend me with everything in her. Yesterday a guy came to my house to work on my cable. He was a contractor of Time Warner. My usually passive 14-year-old black lab did NOT like him at all. So, he didn't come much farther into my home than the front entry. She didn't leave my side, and would NOT let him come near me. He needed to put the paperwork on the floor and walk away to get me to sign it. I love her. I've come to trust her instincts, as she clearly knew something I didn't.

He's thinking, "Dumb bitch. Put your stupid ass dog up." That shit irritates me when people just let their dogs act like retards. If I was him, I would have said, "Either put your dog up or I leave." |

I work in people's homes so I can agree with you on this one... What he should have done was let the dog bite him, them Azoom would have a thread crying about being sued for negligence...
