Some of you Daddy-boys need to lighten the fuck up and have a conversation with your daughters rather than just threaten to kill them. Take my ex-husband, for example. I wanted our 15-year-old on birth control pills. He got angry and told me it's his job as her father to "keep her off the pole" [no, I don't know what that means.]

My daughter has been educated about sex and has had more conversations with her mom at age 13 than most kids get in a lifetime about sex. She completely understands whats its all about, the relevancy of her choices and the negative consequences she will face if she makes that choice.

So its OK for Pre-teens and teens alike to have sex, get pregnant and ruin multple lives in the process?? Is this young one capable of taking on that role? Is anyone that age, really? I understand too about the raging hormones of a boys who want nothing more than to get their dick wet and don't care or understand the consequences of getting a girl pregnant. Kids need to be kids and not be forced to be grown-ups at age 11. Financially, psychologically and physically these kids are not ready for this.

A huge under-estimate. I'd say more like 80% at least.

For most of my family, many topics are taboo. You just DONT talk about them. Thankfully, my best friends mom is a second mom to me, and helped me through alot of things that my own mom couldnt handle. You think thats bad? Guess who had to make sure her younger sisters got the chat and info they needed to grow up? This girl, thats who.

They also got the sex talk from me (and Dad when he thought they were ready) and they know anytime something happens they cant talk to my parents about they are to call me. And they do, thank gawd.

I compensate since my mom cant do her job, she's not a bad mom, but its the way she was raised and she just doesnt know any better. I can still say the word sex in front of her sometimes and she just dies (and I'm almost 30).

As far as this child, I havent found anything stating what the case is, if she was raped, if her parents wouldnt let her abort, nothing. While I dont agree with locking your children away, I cant imagine allowing an 11 year old to be so unsupervised as to get pregnant.
