it will be a whole lot lighter when he gets rid of that paperweight or a rotary damper. Get a penske or a bitubo in there and you will be set.

Looks like it wants to be rocked. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Got out of work early... Did some work... Finalized the wiring runs and mapped out my exhaust hangers... Sorta figured out how I'm gonna mount the gauges.

So, I've come to the conclusion that wiring and running wires can suck my sweaty asshole... It took me FOREVER to figure out how to run everything so it wouldn't pinch or rub or burn and shit... Still not convinced I didn't fuck it up... I'm sure I'll find out a hundred or so miles from home.

I get it now... Why all the streetfighter guys start with old bikes... carbs... Air cooled... My next build... If I live through this one... Is certainly going to be something older and less electronically dependant.

Handle every stressful situation like a DOG: If you can't eat it or hump it, pi$$ on it & walk away.

I think the shorty pipes look like shit on the TL's but a nice set of high MOUNTS would look prety good

For now they stay as-is... sorta the old school chopper look, minus the ugly shark fin bullshit:

Honestly I can't decide what the hell I'm doing back there... Shortening the cans has been the one thing I keep going back to, but I can't get any good info on the effects because 1/3 the guys who do it say it robs power significantly, 1/3 say it makes more power and the other 1/3 say there's no change.

Until I have the money to be pissing around with some different options and paying for dyno tuning, they'll stay long and strong. That said, I'd love to rock something like this, perhaps in a high mount:

Also looking at airbox mods currently... breathing is a big problem for these things, so I'm investigating what to do...
