What's on Gas Man's Lift [kills even your high speed internet]

i am working on a new bike for your lift.. it would be something WAY different from what you have put up there already..

WOW I haven't updated this in FOREVER!!

Last year sometime... worked on a 1982 Nighthawk 650 for a neighbor. just went thru it and cleaned it up a bit, got it running, and worked on the carbs a bit. Plus an oil change











Of coarse back in the spring the wife and I got new bikes so those got some work done...
So I stripped all the stuff off the 2007 883L


Then brought the new steeds in


Had all the assecories bolted up to the Nightster



The Ultra went from stock


It got some assc.


New slip on and rear blinker/brake mod


Highway pegs


Dropped the front bumper and smoked the lenses


Digital oil temp and level gauge


Light bar

Windshield bags


Left crash bar bag


Right crash bar bag


Dumped the trunk by making it a quick detach








Installed a few Willie G skulls to give it some attitude




Installed a set of Hog Tunes speakers and amp


HD LEFT Hog Tunes RIGHT

Then installed the new air wing luggauge rack on the trunk for touring. With the added top/center brake light




Plus a trunk organizer that utilizes that space really well


Even put in a fully adjustable (forward/back and up/down) rider backrest







So now the bike can be what I call my "Street Classic"


To a complete touring bike


Even for camping


Or something in between with the trunk to pick up hotties.


Or mom


The set of bikes in normal form. They look good together

Caveman brought over a 86 Rebel 250 to clean up and get up and running after sitting for years. Still on going waiting on things like title and keys. Long story... but tore it apart, checked things, went over the carb, etc...






A few weeks back had a chopper guy come over for some work... next thing i know there's lots of bike showing up to watch and hang out.



Needed a new starter o-ring (old one leaking) and a new voltage regulator

Think that about covers most of it. Its been a quiet year really...

I have a 2002 HD Deuce on the lift now that I'm doing a ton of stuff to. Probably my first real paying gig. Going thru the bike a ton and fixing anything I find. Its being done for a friend who's fixing up her uncles bike while he's overseas in the military.

Man, you are always elbows deep when it comes to bikes. You should think about opening up a side business. You certainly got your moneys worth out of that lift.

That Rebel is the 2nd time I've noticed the cupcake pan.

Are you using it to stash and seperate bolts or are you just ready to bake at a moment's notice?

Yeah the friends who's bike I have on the lift now says the same thing. She doesn't understand why I dont open up shop. But really I dont do it for money. I do it for the pashion of bikes and the brotherhood amungst bikers. You know that I'm always the first person to offfer up my help, garage, tools, and lift.

The muffin pan... I have been rocking it for 10yrs. I use it to sort bolts and such. I use it all the time. I have some of those magnetic trays too but the muffin pan rocks!!
