For tomorrow I need to get food for the kids, I also need to get some sort of heat source for the pythons, I have the undertank heat pads but the back rooms been getting kinda chilly. I may get one of those ceramic heat sources and rig it just outside the closet so it onle warms that area. I also want to start doing soem research on land tortises since that may be my next aquisition, and theres always the possibility of another snake comming home with me if something catches my eye. Have you thought about using heat lamps? My son's snake seems to like hers. Turtles next? I bet you stand a better chance of getting a turtle than another snake.

i may go with a heat lamp and one of those shrouds that help radiate the heat, they have the lillte clamps on them so I can attatch it to the closet door and keep the cats away from it. I need to ask which would be better to heat the sized area I need.
As for the turtles, the missus wants one too so shes def on board with that, I would love to set up something for some aquatic turtles too but theyre kinda time consuming for the upkeep and I def dont have the time. if I buy a colubrid or smething small i think she would be ok with that just nothing venemous or large Tom |

What kind of colubrid? Not a kingsnake...your pythons are antisocial enough.

Pffttt....with those two you have now you take your chances of always getting bit. Since you seem to be doing better with those 2, maybe you're ready for a green tree. BTW, my offer still stands...if you ever decide to breed the pythons, I still want a hatchling.

After seeing that one guys carpets at the show I would want to breed his stock. he has some gorgeous animals.
And as promised if rabbi and fungo do the nasty you will get one of the offspring Milks are prety similar to corns and kings, they can be a bit more involved to take care of. Big thing is getting them eating pinky mice since they mainy eat lizards in the wild. The one pueblan milk I had would only take food directyl from my hand. Then he escaped and was never heard from again Tom |
