Awesome...when are they coming out with the automated throttle and steering?
Its honda so pretty soon they will offer a robot who will ride it for you as well.

"But it will be faster on the track!!!"

Doesn't make it anymore fun.

I understand why they are doing it, but I don't like it. However, this is nothing new or particularly innovative. They've had automatics for what, like 40 years? The faux-manual mode is somewhat interesting, but I sure as hell wouldn't want one.

I would think that is the tranny meant fortheir upcoming redesign in the ST1300. It fits in well with the FJ and Concours mission statements. The new sporttourer is said to share alot with the new interceptor...

I like how they try to make regular clutches look cumbersome by having the guy use all 4 fingers. Not only that, but he takes his fingers off the lever and then puts them back on between every single upshift. Nobody does that.

That's how I do it. I use all 4 fingers and return them to the grip after each shift. I guess if I was drag racing or sequentially downshifting quickly, then maybe not.
