Thats sick.... I am not afraid to go fast in a straight line I just wont lean in the rain... it must be funny watching me ride in the rain because the bike stays completely vertical..... BTW I lust over that new Fireblade that thing is soooo sick.

I have drug knee in the rain at JGP and again at Barber, once on the GSXR, once on the KTM. DOT's have an amazing amount of grip in the wet, plus the further off the bike you are the better in the rain.

Race rain tires are ultra sticky. Your fingers can stick to it.

Right. In the rain, you lean off the bike, not lean the bike. You can actually lean so far off the bike that you are pushing the bike vertical. Makes riding in the rain easy. But still look out for manhole covers and vinyl ped-crossing strips. Those are slippery when wet.

that is definitely riding on the edge.. amazing.. i don't mind the rain too much.. its all in the tires.. did a track day at mid-ohio and it poured rain.. had the wrong tires and came close to paying the price for it.. did one at vir and it rained in the morning had better rain tires and other than the oak tree last turn it wasn't bad at all..
