Default Wheels?

BWAH!

I absolutely HATE the wheels that came on the Ninja 250's
Like

So I ask, Does ANYONE know of another bike that uses wheels that could possibly work on a Ninja 250?

I REALLY wanted to use the EX500 wheels like:

But The only thing that will work without machining is the Axle
And i don't feel like spending $800 on STOCK wheels and having them machined to work.

So yeah, Any Suggestions? or am i stuck with these ugly wheels till i buy a new bike?

Personally, I like the wheels you have better than the ones you want. That's just my opinion though.

I'm sorry, i like the 250's wheels better too Not trying to be an ass, it's just opinions and personal tastes

Have you thought about powercoating or painting your wheels a different color? Might be enough to make you like them a little better I don't think there's a big market out there for them but you might find some through the guys that race them. Not sure if there are aftermarket wheels for the racers but it might be worth checking into.

I couldn't justify spending any money on stuff for a 250 but have fun on your search. I like the 250 wheels better anyways.

Only problem w/ the 250 wheels is they're 16" not 17".... right?

but yeah, I say save your bucks. They look fine to me. Not worth it.

Yep.
Know how many tires ARENT in 130/80-16 and 100/80-16?
Its uh like 3 brands..and that the stock shit to.

Guess ill just keep these and try to fit 140/90-16 on the rear and 110/90-16 on the front.

Untill i sell it and buy a 636

Excellent choice... go with the 05/06 instead of the 03/04. I tested an 03/04 at the dealer and it was uncomfortable as fuck. Atleast compared to the 05/06. And it looks better!

EDIT- Speaking of said dealership. Since i know your in C-bus, have you ever been to Motorsports of Columbus on Morse rd? We used to go up to that place like every other week in the summer, because all of my friends bikes were bought there. Bikini bike wash/grill outs, and fun activities like that. About two weeks ago we drove up to order some parts for both of our R6 and the whole f'in place is gone! Not shut down for the winter, gone. We were stunned cause they were a big time dealer, and way better people/service than ASK.
