Sorry Tommy
I didn't do it, think a bird lost his meal or something. Was in the driveway when I got home today and the neighbor kids were poking it with a stick. One of the adults said it was there and they didn't do it and the kids were like 3, so they were undersupervision. Wondering where momma snake is... Is this a copperhead as well?

might also be the Eastern Milk Snake. They are pretty common in this area and often mistaken for copperheads.

Haven't they made an IPhone app yet that will allow you to take a pic of the snake, then display the type, size and other info in secs?

i would say either a corn or a milk snake. the pattern is def of a corn snake but wasnt sure if those colors are in wild species or just from professional breeders. there are hybrid corn snakes that go from bright red, to all black, dark brown and all white so i am sure some have made their way back to the wild.
