Bike transformation
It started out as an innocent little blue bike.
It's a wonderful little bike, but it has a small problem. The gas tank is just too damn small. I'm gonna need a new one. Might as well update the rest of it while I'm at it. First the tank arrives. A couple days later, I get a call from the Yammy shop that the rest of my parts are in. Let's open them and and take a look Got my helper by my side. He was just checking to make sure the new 606's were running true Part way done And finished Getting the once over from the boss. He approves |

They're kind of steep right at the moment.
There is only one company making a tank for this bike and they're milking it for all it's worth and the white plastics aren't readily available yet and had to be special ordered thanks to some VERY helpful parts counter guys. That being the case, I had to pay full retail for everything. They can get quite a bit cheaper once they're actually on the market. I paid - Gas tank - $449.95 Front fender - 29.95 Rear fender - 35.84 Headlight cover - 16.82 Seat cover - $39.95 For a grand total of $572.51 for all the new parts. Aw geez . . . I shouldn't have added that all up. I think I was happier when I didn't know the total |
