mechanical ? fuel leak
Seems I developed a gas leak on my accord, it looks like its originating just behind the drivers side door. I am not sure if thats where the fuel pump lives or whatever else may be up there. of course this is a bad week for me to try getting it to the shop and may have the mrs take it in if we can.
So any ideas from some of th ecar guys on what it may be and how much this is going to cost me? |

No, more of a hassle to get under the car. Take a look around while you are under there, replace any hoses as necessary too. If its your first time working on the filter plan at least 2-3 hours.

2-3 hours for a fuel filter? lol
Most Japanese fuel filters have hoses and clamps vs. American quick release or threaded connections. It should take 10 minutes, but if it's leaking it is prolly the hose.

I've done the filter on a few japanese cars, and I cant really remember the accord, but I do remember doing one honda that took a little over an hour, had to remove the wheel, splash guard, and some other stuff. It wasnt hard, just took time. It might have been the accord, but I think it was a newer model.

Under the hood, look behind the drivers strut tower, it should look like a big black canister, very easy to change
