Default This has "bad idea" written all over it

I am reminded of the Oregon's Department of Transportation's disposal of a rather large, very dead, beached whale...

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40529178...news-security/

This can't possibly go well.

I just hope they have cameras pointed at it the whole time. This has "EPIC" written all over it.

the article said they can't use bomb robots to clear out the bombs because of all of the junk he has in the house. Couldn't they use the robots to clear some of the junk?

Also, this is pretty damned ridiculous:

"The home has been declared a public nuisance and therefore the county does not have to reimburse the owners, who were renting the house to Jakubec."

So, the county is going to blow up the home, but the owners of the home are just SOL since they rented to a crazy man (who I imagine they didn't know was crazy at the time they signed the lease).

I definitely want to see this shit on video!

Exactly. I guess Homeland Security thinks landlords are supposed to be able to know whether their tenants are storing explosives.

The home owner could probably sue for the value of the home, just like when they get offered a ridiculously low price for a public works project.

Pollution experts are usually hazardous waste disposal, and I think if they burn it down he can collect insurance on it. I wonder if the houses around it suddenly went up for sale...or did the insurance policies get bigger? Either way...I wanna see this bonfire happen...get on it Arnold!

WTF is a "pollution expert" and what do they plan to do to help out?

I think they should wrap the houe in bacon then set it on fire.
