I drove one of the new 5.0s and it did feel clunky. Makes me appreciate my C-6 and I know I will catch shit, but I really liked the auto in my 2005 GT too.

The 2011 I shifted seemed rather smooth. It was a GT model though.

American manual transmissions have always been inferior to Japanese and German. The American philosphy is "as long as it works, that's cool......who cares about finesse or slickness"

When you can buy a $20K Honda that shifts as well as a $60K Corvette, that's just sad.

These a Chinese transmissions. Also BMW has had it's fair share of problems recently.
