Default Almost got pancaked today...

Almost killed commuting to work I540 south and took the 61 exit right behind one of those older model jeep mail carriers, you know the short wheelbase right hand drive things. Followed him slowly up the off ramp and overpass that has one lane closed for construction, was just heading down the other side and it goes back to 2 lanes, I veer left and as I approach 8 oclock on his port side, his hood flies open and he panic stops, sending the little jeep yawing thru an increasingly wide arc until he finally shuts it down and finds the shoulder. A second earlier and it woulda taken me and no telling how many construction hands out on the over pass... :eek

After all the bragging I do about my "riding skill" I have to give this save to GOD. The audible bang that went along with the hood hitting the roof/windsheild sounded like a gun going off and watching him buck and weave as I rolled by had my heart in my throat...

Well The federal gov. would have given you "Corporate Sponsership" if you did get injured... Don't they make late night Lawyer commercials out of situations like this?
