Thoughts? Experience? History?

The only negatives I've heard about any Subaru is that the interiors get squeaky/rattly after a while.
That and their engines aren't really the most fuel efficient... if that even matters to you.

I'd get an Outback personally if you want a Subaru. And yes they drink fuel like water for a small 4cyl.

Oh and the nose on those is hideous.

A friend ( who shall remain nameless ) was given a Tribeca to use for a year by Subura. He said they should have refined it more so it would at least done something well. It's not fast, it doesn't handle well and it's thirsty.

On the positive side, he said it did run very well ( meaning no problems ) for the entire year he had it.
