Default man i love free stuff

so i've been home for about 2 months now and have already received not one but two free cars

the first one

a 1994 blazer 4x4 it was my step-brothers, over a year ago the radiator blew on it when he got it replaced he was having problems with the transmission. i told him i wouldnt buy it from him but if he gave it to me i would get it fixed and use it as a beater. well after a quick look around and a few quarts of transmission fluid my neighbor and i found a loose hose (the tranny was empty) tightened the hose filled it up with fluids and now it runs like a champ

the 2nd car

a 1992 buick century. Demolition Derby anyone? this was my buddy's grandmothers spare car. it sat in her garage for about a year and just yesterday she bought a newer backup car and was going to send this one to the scrap yard for $200. i asked if i could put it in the demo and then scrap it after and give her the money. so now the work begins

Nice.

I just pulled my old 94 Explorer out of the weeds and threw a running motor in it so comonboys has a 4x4 to drive while I'm gone.

Century isn't bad for a couple of hundred bucks.

I'd wreck the Blazer before the Buick.

For being 1980's-era GM products, those things are surprisingly hard to kill... they're like freaking cockroaches around here. Have fun!

I'm noticing a trend with the peeling registration stickers in the windows

haha since you're in central NY I'm sure you can relate.

When we moved back here about 2 months ago and went to register my truck (an '01 Blazer), the guy at the DMV came right out and said that yes, they are stickers, but they don't stick well so try to figure something else out until the state comes up with a better sticker. We've used double sided tape for my car, and the other 2 are just...whatever. Especially the Buick, it will be ruined in a few weeks anyway. The old Blazer will get a more quality job once Jarvis puts it in his name.
