Dl hell!

So, I just found out that there are 4 tickets on my Drivers Licence that are over a year old in 2 different counties and one of those counties I've never gotten a ticket in so I know I didn't get them but because of them, my DL has been suspended since January 08. Surprise, Surprise.

Anyone else deal with something like this and had to get it fixed? Advise, help?????????????

Did you let someone borrow your car?? If so you being the owner of the car are responsible for the ticket (at least that's the way it is here)

yeah, I just found out about this 2 hours ago and I've been on hold with Dade county (where I've NEVER gotten a ticket) ever since. The phone system keeps putting me on hold and then disconnecting me............ and I can't even get through to Broward county.

The last ticket that I received was in Broward county on 27 and 75 getting ready to head over to Ft Myers on the alley and that was November 2006. That was taken care of forever ago and done.

I have NO CLUE where these came from. One is dated 11/21/07 which was 7 days before my mom died,,,,, that was actually Thanksgiving day last year and I didn't drive that entire day.

The next is December 10 which was the day before my son's birthday and I know I didn't get a ticket then, and then December 18th and then December 24th Christmas Eve which I know I didn't get one then as well, all of 07.

In a months time, someone had a lot of fun with my license!

You may want to pull a credit report while you're at it.

It sounds like you may be a victum of identity theft.

I agree. You should pull all three which you can get for free at https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp. Good luck!
