you should see zerioustt on his mean streak. dude can hustle that thing wayy faster than he ought to be able to. he always leads on the md runs and the new folks tend to bitch about following a cruiser. funny thing, they never bitch on the return trip

Yeah, I get those looks at the meeting spot when people that've never ridden with me before. They're all like "it's a big, heavy, wide-assed cruiser ridden by a toothpick of a man, there's no way he can keep up" All those looks disappear when we hit the first fuel stop. She's big, she's heavy, she's loud, she's orange, but she ain't slow

You're right about that I can hang my 225lbs all off that 750lb bike and it barely turns It is fun to suprise folks on it sometimes. But with my forwards and seat I have now it's hard to lean off enough to help.

Oh yeah! I'll get completely off the bike. Right hand on the gas, right foot on the peg, left knee hanging onto the tank for dear life. I get further off of the VTX than I do the RC! Had many people think I was about to case it (Rae was one of them), but it's just a normal turn.

I know this is more of a track question, but lets be honest, I have done it in the streets and will prolly do it again.

The first time I rode with Apoc was last summer. The first corner we go through, I hear scraping.. Every corner after that the same thing.. He's on a Harley Crossbones and he's grinding hard parts in every corner.

Funny thing is, he used to ride an Rc51 as well..

Dragging on the street does not necessarily = dangerous, because you can easily drag at 30-40 mph doing circles in a friggin' parking lot if you wanted to.

I will say however that it's easy for newbs to get carried away, sticking out their knee like a chicken wing, or trying to hang off so far that 100% of their butt is off the seat, neither of which are necessary. If you look at pro racers, the've already leaned the bike over so far that there wouldn't be any room to do that stuff anyway. So just focus on looking into the turn, keeping your upper body low and inside, and keeping your arms unweighted, and eventually you will drag.
