They have no problem buying something with a salvage title because they arent riding it on the street anyway.

Wouldn't buy either, but I'd go with the one that's been raced. You can bet it has been maintained better then the stunted one and dropped a lot less than the stunter. And not starved for oil half its life.

Go run a few seasons, build a few bikes and then tell me you wouldn't buy a used bike.

i'd take the race bike. more likely that its been maintained properly..

I look at it this way...

I'm out and about one day and I run into two riders... Ben Spies and some stunta... which one am I more likely to trust with my bike...

That was my thought too, though you will get some here or there that neglect it more than others - just probably not as much as a stunt bike.
