I'm loading the project up on my work machine and seeing what I can dig up. I write C# for a living, but have never done anything with the Xna Framework.

Well, scrap that idea. We use Visual Studio 2005 at work. I can't open the project without 2008.

I'm assuming you downloaded and installed the Xna game studio, like it said. That's what the project is trying to use when you rebuild it.

Instead of doing what they're doing on the website to build the project, right click on the solution at the very top, where it says "Solution XBox PC Control (2 Projects)" and select Rebuild All. That will build all of the projects that are part of your solution.

My guess is that the source code they gave you isn't compatible with some update MS made to their Xna framework.

OMG!!! Thankyou! I just realized that I can probably use my Sony Bluetooth PS3 keyboard on my laptop and eliminate the separate keyboard/mouse set-up!!!!
