Ok I did notice the weight differences...

Inline 4's 365 lbs.

675 375 lbs.
848 375 lbs. (I think)

Aprilia 385 lbs.
Buell 385 lbs.

You know I hate to say it...But the racing was pretty tight, even with the disparity in rules. If a rider can't make up 20 lbs with 525 more cc well he isn't much of a rider.

Hacking and Disalvo are a couple of the best, most experienced guys. Hell Hacking held his own last year on the Kawi MotoGP bike at Laguna, was the only one to race with Spies and Mladin in 08...If he has a hard time passing the 1125 in the straights and is making it all up in the corners the rules just aint fair....

The I4's did okay on the banks of daytona chasing down and passing the twins.

Yeah but those long straights have the engines revved out at top speed and a good draft...I think that would mask the differences somewhat. I mean at that speed you have aero to consider and the bikes gearing, I don't see as how top speed would be so different.

However the extra 525 cc would show up on acceleration the most I think. As I said before it is curious the bikes are so close considering how different they are, but I still would take the 525 extra cc and 20 lbs if it were my fight.
