Hopefully you all are right, he's just drinking too much water. So far so good. Now, if I could just sleep through the night.
I'm glad that it seems to be working! I was going to agree with everyone but they covered it so.... You're a really good dog parent to be sleepless because one of your "kids" has a problem. FWIW I believe that dogs can go days without water, heck, my dog goes 12 hours everyday when I am working and he's quite healthy. Hey you make it all night without water.... I totally agree with Gas, that people tend to run to the vet a little too fast sometimes.

I didn't really think he was drinking that much water in the evenings...but so far this is working so we'll see how it turns out after a few more days.

Until someone quietly breaks into your home and rapes you Pulp Fiction style before stealing everything you worked for and drinking your orange juice. You'll never sleep quietly again.

Gas Man's dog is named Brinks for a reason.

This method of cutting of his water seems to be at least helping. 4 consecutiv e days and the dog has not had to out in the middle of the night.
