44 degrees? Shit, NO tire likes it when it's 44 degrees. Even the Bridgestone BT016's slip when it's that cold.

Bullshit. Both my Corsa III's and my PP's on the 1125 got broke in with weather in the 20's!

Never had a slip out of either one, and I pushed them far harder than I should have.

Here is a pic of the first ride on my PP's. Yes that's snow. Yes those are snowmobile tracks in the gravel.
In fact, I raced a sled that was in the ditch right before this... I won.

The pilot powers seemed to do rather well in the cold as did the original pilot roads. At least for me they did.

All I can go off of is my own experience. Maybe your bike isn't powerful enough to break the tires loose. It is a 600 class bike after all. My BT016's slipped all the time when it was that cold. PP's were much better in the cold but those were also on a less powerful bike.

I've spun up the rear on my 675 on BT016s. I don't really ride in anything y'all would call "cold"

My 015 would spin in a straight line at 75mph when it was just past the wear bars, in September.

Now I have a Dunlop Qualifier and it has much better traction.

Yeah..

The bike was still in the garage and I hadn't started it up yet. I saw the leaves in the road and I started the process to lean it over to lay it down but then the wind picked up and blew the leave away. I didn't even have a chance to get the kickstand all the way up.

So i just put it back on the kick stand and finished putting on my helmet.

The other day there were leaves and the garbage truck was in front of the house collecting garbage. I said "ole shit!!", put on some jeans, ran into the garage and knocked both bikes over.
Had to lay em down.
