I don't really know how old that specific string of lights are. At least 5 years for sure. I can't remember if I needed to buy more when I moved into this house so really they could be as old as 13 years old from when I bought my first house. I replace several bulbs a year, but the strings have held up well. |

They were gifts. Any I wouldn't call them designer - he's the artist that does all of the humorous paintings with olives and grapes and whatnot.

Well when I came home from work, I noticed that the lights in the garage were out, (garage door openers are on there own circuit), so I went down and reset the breaker and went about my business not thinking about the lights. Then later on when I walked outside to take a pic of the lights, I noticed the entire row of lights were out. I climbed on the roof and quickly realized the source of the breaker tripping. Snow today and tomorrow and 31 degrees on Saturday means I wont fix the lights until Sun(36 degrees).

Me too. As soon as I have a bar space big enough I want to get some of his art.
