Investigated as a homicide? Why? Pretty cut-and-dried case of self defense against a home intruder, with the bonus of added real-time audio monitoring evidence, care of police 911.

I think you can file this case as "closed".

It's still a homicide.

In this case it should end up being a 'justifiable' homicide since it was in self defense.

We'll have our roadways get shut down for an entire day because some asshole bridge jumper jumps from a bridge onto the interstate. They bring cops, detectives, coroners, et al to figure out that he jumped into the interstate despite there were news choppers and cops standing around with 1000s of witnesses who were stuck on the interstate. Government bureaucacy bullshit.

They'll probably investigate to make sure she didn't shoot the guy outside the house (though I don't see it mattering) and drag him in.
