Luckily for that guy, that sucker was unloaded and probably not to much fuel in the tanks.

Thats why those suckers are airshow kings...at low speed they can pretty much dance on a dime.

Combat loaded full with fuel...different story.
Very different story

I actually wouldn't be surpirsed if that was a marketing video.

That ain't no big deal. I spent 3 years on a carrier and have seen closer calls than that and I even witnessed an actual crash. Pilot came in too low and ejected just as the rear struts hit the round down tearing off the lading gear. The tail hook caught the wire. The plane was hooked on the cable on full throttle until some deck ape E-3 reached in and throttled it back. Pilot fell back to the carrier deck with his chute open and got a little scraped up from the non skid since his open chute was pulling him down the deck.
