Sure it can cause the sort of things described but at the same time look at Kell's point raised early in this thread, about guys who ride only seeming to date girls who don't. I frequently see this sort of thing. how can you win, in a lose-lose situation?

This is why I don't have a "crew." Because they are fucking retarded.

They probably didn't show it, or if they did it was subtle. If you were giving off the "we're just buddies" vibe most guys will walk.

Refer to my earlier post. Most men cant handle a woman that rides, whether its the constant male attention, the lack of control over what she's doing or the confidence she has that makes her desirable. And most dont realize till they have her that they cant handle it.

Woman that doesnt ride still has the ability to look at her man on his shiny bike and oooh and aaah over his manly abilities and ride bitch whereas a female rider will just scoff and hop on her own ride.

You would think huh?? I dated a guy when I first divorced that was soooo into me, and what attracted him most was what ended up repelling him the most. He just couldnt get past the fact that I wasnt in awe of him and would refuse to ride bitch (that and he was a total douche nozzle and everyone hated him. What can I say? It was a phase.)

Funny, wife who doesn't ride but has her endorsement, doesn't look at me in awe, she actually looks at me in disgust. Probably because I'm doing something fun and she isn't.

I wish. This is men ranging from 28-50. Not all, but many. Then there were the older male acquaintances offering material items just to have the company, or the young ones thinking they were so studly they were irresistible and I would be impressed by their efforts to commit suicide via sportbike trying to show how awesome they were. (These werent in my "crew".) My real friends were cool about understanding the "you dont shit where you eat rule".

When I refer to crew, I am talking about a group of very close knit friends btw, not the vest wearing color flashing that most folks think of. Before I moved we all got together every Sunday to ride and hung out usually every week for our own version of bike night. Meaning unless we invited you and you were approved, you werent welcome.
