I only have a speedo on the dualie. I set the odo when i roll out of the garage so I can keep track of how many miles I have logged but not for gas guaging. I usually just shake the tank and see how much fuel i have sloshing around.

On the 1125... you have 25 miles from low fuel light staying on constant, to no go. SO it's kinda a count down.

Whats fun is playing on twisties with low fuel. lean it over in a turn, light comes on, ride a bit up and down, it goes off. back and forth...

Yes, I'm easily amused.
Ok but mine actually counts down mile by mile... starting somewhere in the 220-240mile range... counts down... till 25 mile and then it say LO. You can force it to read, in which even when it gets to ZERO it still goes!! I know!

Low fuel trip for if I'm not paying attention, or stretch too far between gas stops!
I do the same thing with my 2 trips.

And I have a low fuel light as well.

I hate resetting the trip odometer on my scooter. It reset the achieved top speed as well. Hey, when you ride a 50-cc scooter, hitting 52-MPH on the flat is pretty impressive, and hitting 60 on a downhill with the chassis shakin' and the wheels bouncin'...that's bragging rights.

Why does it ever change?

Low fuel light, but I always reset the Trip.

You have a see through tank? Pics?

Is it one of those huge plastic aftermarket bolt ons?

I just use the low fuel light, 1.5 gallons left gives you plenty of time to find a gas station. I don't care what the exact fuel economy is, that's not why I ride a motorcycle.
