That's why cans are lined. I've never noticed the difference.

Yeah. Cans FTMFW.
Two 12 packs of Coke at the Hess are $5.50 Crush to dispose easily in recycling, don't shatter. If you want a can vendor, kids, now is the time to act. They're all coming out of service, and being replaced with 20 oz. bottle machines. For the home, the little Dixie Narco is the shit. It looks like a Coke can (bubble front), and it's barely 5 ft tall, and only 32" wide. The bigger machine is over 700 lbs. Fuck that shit. I don't think I coulda gotten the larger thing into my house.

You can't easily find soda in glass anymore. Beer, no problem.
Plastic lining in a can vs. plastic bottle are a virtually a scratch on flavor, IMHO. Buy your beer in glass, if you care about beer.

That seems like a shitload of work to free up a little fridge space, but if it makes you happy...

I was thinking about getting one of those a couple weeks ago. Come July, my place is going to be perfect for parties, and since you can't buy beer after 1:30, we were talking about getting a soda machine and overcharging for beer. Or we'll just get kegs.

Belongs in the garage, not inside the house. But to each, his own.
