Based on your meter, it's pretty damn old.

That resignation letter is from a former employee of Whole Foods, in Toronto (TTC = Toronto Transit Commission).

When i first read it over my reaction was that this is someone with a bad attitude and work ethic (comments like "Respect your employees and the precious time that they are giving up to work for you."). When I read it a second time, I had the same opinion. The only person "owned" by that letter, is the writer's last English teacher.

I said 'owned' because it got a shitload of hits, and might give people second thoughts about working there.

People seem to have the perception that a "cool, trendy" company (like Whole Foods or Trader Joes) must be better to work for than a "square, conservative" company (like Kroger or Wal-Mart). That isn't always true.

Those people tend to be idealistic idiots being welcomed in to the warm embrace of reality.

I think both Whole Foods and Trader Joe's suck, but Trader Joe's takes the loss by a nose.

I like Trader Joes because the store itself is very small, and they have decent prices on certain things (walnuts, almonds, frozen veggies, random shit like that).......But Whole Foods is a ripoff IMO.

My last Trader Joe's experience was trying to buy a loaf of white bread. Bought the most "normal" (not organic or any of that other BS) and it still tasted like shit. I guess for the type of thing you are talking about they can't screw it up but I wouldn't trust anything that requires "processing".

These places are marketed to and infested with some of the most miserable, naive, whining, pathetic losers of the species. I don't even like walking past the fucking place much less setting foot inside

Anyone who thinks it might be a good place to work is already dogfood
