Canada is much more lenient with drugs than the US, so I doubt if you can get them here w/o going to a vet. Ask AMJ about more details from our druggie neighbors up north.
Also, they manufacturer most of the stuff, too, so maybe that is why it is cheaper.

Unless its changed in the years since I worked at the vet, you can give dogs enteric (non coated) baby aspirin, dosage based on size, or child type doses. Good for mild pain, arthritis pain, etc. You can also give them pepto for tummy problems.
