Interesting. But I'll probly just stick to Honda Polish and Protect All.

Makes sense to use it on Harley's since many of them are better suited for furniture than motorcycles.

j/k - We have a Harley. Still thought it was funny!!!

Protect All smells just like Pledge. Like I said there was a "huge" controversy back in the 90s when it came out and everyone was accusing it of being "re-badged" Pledge.

Nope,it's your stuff, you can piss on it to clean it for all I care. I was just trying to impart some experience and advice. I don't have any vested interest in what you use to clean your ride....

The old "performance bike" videos "how to wheelie and infulce people" showed them using pledge before a photo shoot and I have used it ever since I got the idea from them it works great and the bugs don't sick nearly as bad.

A friend of mine used to use a no-name version of pledge to clean his sled. He was at his grandfathers place one day and wanted to clean up his sled for him. All he had there was actual pledge. He used it and it made a huge mess. He had to go home and get the no-name stuff to clean it up...

Besides that though I have heard of Pledge working fine.

I don't actually have to use anything. My bike has no paint on it.

Wouldn't there be a residue left? A good quick detailer will do the trick. And finish with Plexus polisher for a sick shine.
