Default I'm an IDIOT!!!!

Hey are you guys aware of the little sliding switch on the side of a laptop that turns your wireless on and off........well I am NOW!!!! I was just getting ready to call Punjab at Dell when I figured it out! What a dumbass I am! I get up to take a piss and I come back and my laptop won't connect to my network?!? I fiddled for at least 15 min before I stumbled onto the switch!!! Hee HAW,Heee HAWWWW!!!!

i wasn't aware, and i have a dell laptop as well. i also sometimes have network issues myself. i'm gonna hafta take a look later.

I have a Dell and I don't know where to turn mine on and off, it's just on all the time. Its an Inspiron 1720. As long as I see the blue light on, I'm happy.

its there so that when they say on flights "You may use approved electronic devices if the wireless feature has been switched OFF", you can just hit the switch instead of having to dig into some settings.
