I am also running BT021s and have 3500 on the rear with very little wear. Grip has been great in wet and dry conditions. I will be sticking with them.

Unhappy with my corsa IIIs. Will be switching back to pilot road 2s.

I have about 1200 miles on the pirellis and 3500 on the pilots. And the pilots look newer.

You are also comparing corsa IIIs to road 2s for mileage. Are you serious?

There's also the fact that they move around a lot and feel like they're greased when I lean over and get on the gas.

But, he was asking about milage.

As for them moving around a lot, I'm not a hard rider. The only time I see the edge of my tire is when I'm going too hot into a corner. I just don't like them. Maybe I got the bad tire of the batch?

My Dunlop Roadsmart rear has 4500 miles on it on my CBR 1000, and it looks like I'll get 6000 out of it for sure. I've been impressed with this tire and I will put another on when it's time. I use my bike to commute to work during the week when the weather is not bad, to work and back is 58 miles on the Hwy so I try to use sport touring type tires for better mileage but that are designed for sport riding as well. I think I've found a nice balance in this tire.

I'm debating between the Roadsmart and BT 021 for my F4i though could easily come down to best price.

never had a issue on the 1000, stick like glue..even on the edge hard on the gas in 2nd coming out of a corner, only had it spin a couple of times

they just dont wear worth a damn, but i'm thinking nothing will last long on the rear of this bike if you twist your right hand a lot

i think i'll either..

1. keep using Corsa III's, and keep shelling out the cash, cause they stick

2. get some sort of sport/touring tires and slow down(cause i dont think i'll trust them on this bike, it just pulls so HARD out of the corners) even though i'm not on a track..blah blah track blah blah, the roads and the pace we ride sometimes, I just dont think i'd be happy with them

3. race take offs, since i can get like 3 good used sets for the price of a new set of corsa III's(this doesnt sound bad, cause good price and traction!)

BUT i did just find Corsa III's 120/190 set for $285 shipped, not too bad

may just stick with what i know works good for me on this bike, and keep moaning and bitching about buying tires
