Fixed the brake line issue (banjo bolt hitting the fork tube)

Took about 10 minutes (half of that time was finding an extension cord for the Dremel lol).

Now it's time to get rid of that cramp-buster thing and get yourself a proper Throttlemeister.

Agreed. With the heli-bars on there, it hits the tank at full lock.

It was my solution back when I was poor (read: just out of college)

Definitely will be looking into that. I do a lot of highway riding when I want to just GET somewhere and that would come in handy.

hmmm, they're still a tad bit pricey

I've spent a decent amount on my bike this year in accessories - this one may have to wait a TAD bit longer or else my wife will get upset

I'll be cruising ebay and such for one I think for a while.

Be sure you know what others will fit from their website so you can widen your search on Ebay.

In my case, the same Throttlemeister fits the Busa *and* the TLR. Handy if I ever decide to tour on the TLR again.

I believe they have clip-ons to fit the SV with up to 3-1/2 inches of rise.
I've actually got a triple tree from a naked SV on the way for when I eventually decide to do the conversion.
