Snowbox, almost bad accident POV

This past sunday was the east coast challenge, I had a fairly bad accident, no injuries and I went on to finish not last. To make a long story short I hit a small patch of gravel and drifted inside the turn taking a dirt berm side ways which flipped me around 2x. It was a hard enough hit for me to hit my helmet on my roll bar and lost my right shoe. The GPS clocked me at 51 mph at the time of the crash, and I was running 2nd place at the time. I still managed to finish not last, passing 2 people at the end. It could have been much worse than it was.

I am uploading my eventual 4th place finish in the east coast championship, the NJ chapter took 4 of the 5 top places, except first which went to maryland.

Starting just before 2:00 UO69 drafted his way past me, we touched and he got a little squirrly, then I drafted him, with wisconsin drafting me, I nearly cought UO, and just didnt have enough speed to pass him in the end, wisconsin had the same problem, he was able to get even, but just not enough momentum to get a full pass. Then coming around the last corner we all had a good view of the cop parked in the middle of the parking lot

He threatened all of us a bunch but in the end let us go with a verbal warning. Basically there is nothing illegal about this, the cops just dont like it because it isn't "normal", and they keep threatening to tow the (soapbox) cars but to date they havn't

It looks like your left leg got hung up in the crash. It definitely could have been a lot worse.

You need to put some big ol' sticky shifter kart tires on that bad boy for better traction . . . and yeah . . . quit passing outside the double yellow in a frickin' soap box car :eek
