Instead of making the food, why not eat each ingredient separate. Have a pile of flour here, a pile of sugar there, raw chicken in the middle, a pinch of salt to the left, and some kind of spice in its own container.

But mixing things creates more and better tastes. Like Jello with pineapple or oranges...applesauce with porkchops...beer and peanuts...Its like a sandwich without the bread.

My dad is like your wife. He can't stand to let his food touch and will go so far as to use a bowl for his corn and another bowl for his green beans, just so the juice from each doesn't touch anything else.

I, however, will mix shit up and not give a rat's ass about it. I love KFC's mashed potato bowl, with the potatos, corn, chicken, gravy and cheese all mixed together. It doesn't bother me in the least bit.

Love the bowl. I just thought that KFC cole slaw is one of the few items that can never intermingle with other food. I always use a seperate bowl just for that.
