If I actually went away from Japanese inline fours I'd probably get a Duc 1098or 1198....not that it's better or anything but just because I've always liked Ducs.

It's hard to beat a Japanese inline four...for the $$ though.

Cool bike, really really really cool bike. Sitting on it it is definately more comfortable than most modern super sports, but I really felt the vibrations through the bars and pegs, much more than I'm used to, after a 45 minute ride it left my hands with that feeling like they were still shaking. .....

I thought this thing is an inline 4? Maybe it's running lean as typical factory mapped bikes.

It is an inlie 4, but it vibrated more than any other I4 bike I've ever ridden.

They probably have the balance optimised for very high rpm. You get to redline it?

Very true! I took a 30 minute test ride and came back and bought one. It's as kick ass as all the reviews say. Best bike I've ever ridden right out of the box. I still love my Japanese bikes too. Just can't wait to get it broken in and the 9K rpm limiter removed. After that, maybe I can make some valid comparisons between the bikes.

It's a miserable job, but SOMEBODY has to do it! I'm retired, so I have to have this job...

Am I to understand that the dealer limits redline untill a mileage goal is reached?
