Probably less than one. The density of mercury is much greater than that of our bodies so it wouldnt take much to make 149lbs. My guess is that it would make about half of one. Sorry, Im a science buff I didnt know if you were serious or not.

ehhh semi serious.

But good info... didn't know that mercury was that dense. I understood it was a heavy metal, just didn't know how heavy it was!

Nah not even close to half of one. It would make an arm or so. Maybe a teensy bit more.

The density of mercury is just under 14 times that of water. Shit's no joke.

okay... so.

question. How much mercury would it take to make a full T-1000 anyways?

Yeah I was just going based on rough size. I would have still been off tho, I would have thought a little bigger than his arm

Well if 149lbs will make approx an arm then 2x149=298 + about 149lbs per leg = roughly 596lbs then his torso and head etc would probably weigh somewhere in the neighborhood of that much so he will be well over 1000lbs. Again just a rough estimate. And Im bored

Well considering mercury is roughly 14 times denser than water, and humans are mostly water, you could say that a 200 lb person would be a 2800 lb T1000. Oh yeah and I'm a nerd.

Or in volume, a 200 lb human is roughly .09 cubic meters of volume... which is about 24 US standard liquid gallons. For a T1000 the volume would be the same, just higher density.

So the answer is it would take over 10 times the mercury I have to make a T1000.... it would take about 24 gallons.... and it would weigh about 2800 pounds.

this is a typical trailer we get. each one weighs well over 500lbs... gotta move by hand onto pallets and shrinkwrap them. sometimes its nose to tail drums of sulfuric acid, mercury, other corrosives, and a lot of flammables. a lot of work. [/IMG]
