If the shortcut isn't where you thought it was yesterday, then obviously the programme got uninstalled somehow. Yes, I've had calls like that.

How does the ME at the end of PROGRAMME help you pronounce it? It's still going to sound the same as PROGRAM, so just drop 2 letters and save some time, lol.

Good article on the usability of Win 8.

http://www.nngroup.com/articles/wind...ing-usability/

My favorite quote from the article:

As mentioned in the introduction, Windows 8 encompasses two UI styles within one product. Windows 8 on mobile devices and tablets is akin to Dr. Jekyll: a tortured soul hoping for redemption. On a regular PC, Windows 8 is Mr. Hyde: a monster that terrorizes poor office workers and strangles their productivity.

I strongly agree with the second metaphor, but IMO on a tablet, Win8 isn’t so bad. One thing that does drive me nuts, though, is how difficult and non-intuitive it is to try to organize tiles and/or remove them. I still struggle with that even now.

On Windows Phone you simply press and hold, and it allows you to resize, delete, or move them.
